So, here's the deal guys. Most of my tutorials up until this point have used JavaScript to code for Unity. There are some tutorials which use C# (Learn To Code In Unity 5 has both - it's a series which teaches you both languages). A few mini tutorials also use C#. Since I started creating tutorials, people have wanted to see C# more and more, and although for beginners it doesn't really matter which language you learn - both Js and C# are extremely similar at a beginner level - you guys still want to see C#. |
So, after babbling on for long enough, I'm pleased to say that EVERY NEW series from 2017 onward will be written in C#. This means that the upcoming RPG series will be done in C#. The upcoming Survival Horror tutorials will be done in C#. The upcoming Driving/Racing game series will be done in C#. What this means for me is that I can teach you things I hadn't before.
There will be a few mini tutorials which will remain in Js due to pre-recording, but everything recorded from this point on will be C#.
What does this mean for the tutorials already running? For now, they will remain in Js, however, I have plans to soon introduce C# into those as well.
